1. Fees Once Paid
- Fees paid through the online portal will be considered final. The school reserves the right to approve or deny any refund requests.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
- Refunds are applicable only under the following circumstances:
- Duplicate Payment: In case of multiple payments made for the same fee, the excess payment will be refunded.
- Transaction Error: In case of a payment failure or error leading to an unprocessed or incomplete transaction, the amount deducted will be refunded.
- Excess Payment: If the amount paid is higher than the actual fee due.
3. Non-Refundable Fees
- The following fees are non-refundable under any circumstances:
- Admission fees
- Annual charges
- Any miscellaneous fees as specified at the time of payment
4. Procedure for Refund
- Refund requests must be made in writing to the school’s administrative office within 7 days of the payment date, providing full details of the transaction (e.g., payment date, amount, transaction ID).
- Upon receiving the request, the school administration will verify the details and process the refund if the request meets the eligibility criteria.
- The school reserves the right to ask for additional documents to validate the refund claim.
5. Refund Timeline
- Approved refund requests will be processed within 15 working days from the date of approval.
- Refunds will be made via the same mode as the original payment (e.g., bank transfer, credit card, etc.) unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
6. Mode of Refund
- All refunds will be credited back to the original source of payment (e.g., bank account, credit/debit card). The school is not responsible for any delays caused by banking procedures.
7. Cancellation of Payment
- Fees once paid through the online fee portal cannot be canceled. However, requests for refund as per the eligibility criteria will be entertained.
8. Disputes
- Any disputes arising out of online fee payments will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Lohardaga, Jharkhand.
9. Changes to the Refund Policy
- M.B. DAV Public School Lohardaga reserves the right to modify or amend this refund policy at any time without prior notice.
